Find the correct gas strut for your boat hatch
We have developed three free online tools which will support you in configuring, calculating or replacing your gas struts. The three interactive tools are briefly explained below.
Calculator tool. Our most sophisticated online tool allows you to fill in all the needed metrics to calculate the needed gas strut and force in Newton for the application. For exemaple, you can measure the length/width, closed/open angle, weight and more of your boat hatch and fill in the values. When accepted the tool will provide you with the correct gas strut for the application.
Configurator tool. Our second tool allows you to customize your own gas strut. Using this tool is recommended when you know all the values and metrics. Using the interactive interface you can choose between gas strut material, mounting sides and the desired force in Newton. Afterwards you can easily add the gas strut to your cart and place an order.
Replacement tool. Last but not least – the replacement tool. This simple tool allows you to find a one on one replacement of your current gas strut. Simply fill in (a part of) the article number and view the suggestion(s).
